Celebrate with us! Akron's Family Friendly Annual NYE Celebration begins at 11:30pm in Russell Park with music by Chase Entertainment followed by ball drop and fireworks!

The Akron Celebration Committee would like to thank everyone that made the New Year's Eve Celebration a safe and successful event! 


Special thanks to the Village of Akron and Akron Police

Department, Akron Fire Co, Akron Bugle, Akron Chamber of Commerce and the First Methodist Church.

Special thanks to Dadswell’s Towing in Pembroke for providing the equipment for the ball drop. 

None of this would be possible without the volunteers and many of their family members.

    This volunteer committee focuses on planning, organizing & fundraising for the Akron 4th of July and New Years Eve Celebrations.

    We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. Pre planning and day of event help is always needed!
